Since April 2006 a new light twin engine Eurocopter EC135 T2 augments The Flying Bulls fleet. Among other goodies the engines in this chopper are controlled by "FADECs" (Fully Authority Digital Electronic Control), thereby providing best power during all phases of flight and considerably reducing pilot workload.

The latest generation main rotor head and the quiet fenestron ducted tail rotor are "state of the art" safety features. The majority of the hull is manufactured out of composites, thereby optimizing the performance through perfect aerodynamic form and light weight.
