Red Bull Skydive Team
Six men, one common passion. The Red Bull Skydive Team has dared to do it about 13,000 times and enjoyed every single one of those occasions when they launched themselves into free fall! On their own, in teams or during spectacular stunts.
Canopy relative work is one of the most impressive maneuvers requiring utmost concentration and attention. Before docking, one of the athletes hooks up to the ropes of the other one so that they fly to the ground above each other. At an altitude of about 600m, one duo performs a Down-Plane while the other two reach the ground in a pair.
It goes without saying that this kind of jumps requires lots of training, experience and knowing one?s limits. That?s why the team is made up of the most ambitious and skilled skydivers of the country, who never stop to work on their performance even after international successes and shows.
The team is traveling to all parts of the world to perform different skydiving maneuvers and stunts and has already causes quite a stir at different international events. Amongst others, the team has done jumps at the following events:
? Formula 1 GP in Barcelona (ESP), Estoril (POR), Magni-Cour (FRA)
? Moto GP at the Nürburgring (GER)
? Open Air concert of Marius Müller-Westerhagen in Hockenheim
? Jump off the ?Goldene Dachl? in Innsbruck
? Downhill Event in Cape Town (South Africa)
? Airshow in Malta
? Launch event of the music channel MTV in Poland (Danzig)
? Hannibal glacier theater show in Sölden
? Red Bull Flugtag in Vienna, Dublin (IRL) and Rome (ITA)
? Ski Jumping World Cup in Falun (SWE)
? Airpower 2003 and 2005 in Zeltweg
? Alpine Skiing World Cup Kitzbühel
The crew preferably jumps from its own Pilatus-Porter or a helicopter, but is known to seize every other flying object able to travel at jump altitude to offer their fans a good show.
