? was the cry that rang out through the loud speakers on 19 and 20 August at the Red Bull Air Race in Budapest. Spectators and participants alike could scarcely wait for the Formula 1 of the air to start. The pilots sat impatiently in their cockpits, ready to master the course as quickly as possible. Guests included the Flying Bulls crew who entertained the public with their breathtaking manoeuvres before the race began. They were ably supported by what is, in flying circles, the well-known helicopter duo of the Bell Cobra and BO 105. The team?s Mitchell B-25 and Corsair, examples of what were celebrated bombers and fighters in their day, were rewarded with as much wild applause for their performance as the Alpha Jet.
