When a Harley-Davidson takes to the skies in Fischamend ?

? it can only be one on wings ? in other words, a Boeing Stearman.

At the historic air show on 6/7 June, the nearly 70-year old aircraft proved that it was still top of the line. Under the command of Captain Philipp Haidbauer, the old lady reached peak performance with lots of stunning loops, mock tumbles and lightning-fast climbs.

The Fischamend airfield, which looks back on a 100-year history, provided the perfect setting for the legends of the skies that were on display at the air show.
