Many innovative flight properties touched down for their final air show of 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Aviation Nation on Nellis Air Force Base.

Over 200,000 people attended the show this year to watch prestigious acts from some of the best aviation demonstration groups in the country.

One of the most spectacular treats for the crowd was a special demonstration by our newly restored Red Bull P-38 Lightning, which said "Good Bye" before its shipping to the new homebase, the Hangar-7/8, Salzburg.

The classic American warbird has been considered the "best restoration of a warbird ever" by American press.

The last time the Red Bull P-38 flew publicly was at the same air show 11 years earlier in 1997.

Its historic return was coupled with a beautiful vintage aircraft demonstration with Bill Reesman and the Red Bull MiG.

Chuck Aaron and the BO-105 awed the audience as he barrel-rolled and back-flipped the USA's only aerobatic helicopter even impressing some of the US military's best helicopter pilots with his precision and skill.
